    Pat Dooley

Pat Dooley: Pat Dooley shot an 85 at Augusta National. Tripled the 18th. Other than that, there’s not much to tell. Great wife, two beautiful daughters. Been at The Sun since 1987 and worked in Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale before that. Spent a year in Storrs, Conn. Actually, it was only five days but it seemed like a year. Likes Tom Petty, The Beatles, Weezer and long walks on St. Augustine Beach as long as they end at the Beachcomber. Reads every e-mail except those sent with Russian alphabet. Favorite sports are college football, college basketball, golf and cooking chili.

    Adam West

Adam West: Adam West is not a television superhero. He is also not the mayor of Quahog. He is a sports copy editor, page designer, Web producer and writer who has worked at The Gainesville Sun since his senior year at the University of Florida in 2005. His favorite sports are football, basketball, baseball and golf. He is one of the last few pure Floridians, and somehow found a way to turn that middle school spelling bee championship into a career.

    Jon McDonald

Jon McDonald: Jon McDonald is an award-winning copy editor who has been working at The Sun since 2001. His awards include numerous middle school honor roll certificates as well as a few participation ribbons from elementary school field days. He has also been the 10th caller in radio contests a handful of times. He grew up a Gator fan in south Georgia, so he has already taken a lifetime of sports-related abuse. His interests include college football, grilling, pro football and college basketball, in that order. His NFL team is the Philadelphia Eagles, and he is also a part-time Atlanta Braves fan.
